Old St. Joseph's Church is located at North St. and College Ave. near the Lockerbie area of Indianapolis. Legend has it that 92 people heard heavy footsteps, loud noises and saw blood in the sanctuary. The church is now abandoned. The current owners do not allow access to the building and trespassing is forbidden. It appears an apartment dwelling and a business are in adjacent buildings. Art classes at the nearby Indianapolis Senior Center have been known to paint and draw the church as their subject.
